ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION
Horses for Happiness non-profit association was founded in July 2021 by Staffan Pellvik (chairman), Helena Backlund (secretary and treasuror) and Annette Johansson, who also are the board of the association.
All of the founders have a background in harness racing. Staffan as owner and breeder (Pellini), Helena as owner and breeder (Habibi Invest), and Annette - who is also active in thoroughbred horse racing - as owner, breeder and stud holder (Scandinavian Racehorses).

Horses for Happiness fully supports UN’s Universal Declaration of the Human Rights, UN’s Declaration on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women, and UN’s Declaration of the Rights of the Child .
Horses for Happiness rejects any and all forms of violence and any and all forms of discrimination and oppression motivated by e.g. ethnicity, gender, gender identity or gender expression, age, functionality, sexual orientation, religious beliefs or social status.
Horses for Happiness is a non-political, independent and non-religious association.
